Weekly Evening Classes
The evening classes currently run on Monday and Tuesday Evening from 6-8pm
The classes are very relaxed, I like to support students to create the pieces they want to make, rather than giving projects. However if
you would prefer projects, then this can be arranged. You will be in amongst a small group of like minded individuals.
The areas of pottery skills that I offer are throwing, coiling, pinch pots, slab work, hand building and slip casting.
I have a large selection of ready made glazes that can be used on your work.
The cost of the sessions are charged at an hourly flat rate plus the cost of raw materials used which is worked out on an individual basis together with a contribution towards the firing costs. Payment can be either be weekly or termly to your preference. (If a class is cancelled by myself and you had paid in advance a credit will be given.)
If you are unable to make a session, I ask that you pay £5 to secure your place.
Firings take place fortnightly, so the turn around of work is fairly quick, depending on weather conditions which affect drying times.
Refreshments are provided and there are toilet facilities on site.
