Throwing Taster Session - 90 minutes - Individual / Pair
The throwing taster session begins with a demonstration. This is followed by you having 90 minutes of time on a potters wheel. You will be supported during your time with instruction and encouragement before being allowed time to explore your creativity on the potters wheel and progress at your own pace.
At the end of the session, you will
be able to choose two of your pieces to keep, these can then be left to dry in the studio before being fired in the
kiln. Drying times are weather dependant.
Once your pieces have been fired, you can either collect them or if you choose
to, you can book another session to return to the workshop
to glaze them. This is at an additional cost.
When your pieces have had their final firing you will be contacted to collect them. If your pieces require posting, there is a charge.
You can if you wish, keep more than two of your pieces. There will be an additional charge for this.
